There are a range of venues at the fort, including a conference room accommodating 30 people seated at a table or 70 in a rows, the fort atrium, a double – volume space accommodating 60 people standing, the slovo courtyard seating 100 for banquet, or 350 standing, the old fort courtyard with view of Hillbrow sky scrapers which accommodates 130 people, the Mandela courtyard, which accommodates 130 standing and the old fort parade, a large square shaped area framed by the ramparts and accommodating 1000 people standing. Immediately outside of the square, a piazza suitable for large public events. The square can accommodate 1000 people standing or 380 for a banquet.
